Daniela Astone
Italian (b. 1980)
Born in Pisa, Italy, Daniela attended the prestigious Florence Academy of Art where upon graduation in 2004 she received the highest honor of her class. Her studio is in the picturesque Chianti countryside, just outside of Florence. Ann Long Fine Art gave Daniela her first solo show in 2005 and since then she has been included in many important exhibitions from New York, across Europe, to Russia. In 2013, her Self-portrait was accepted into the prestigious BP Portrait Award Exhibition in London.
The following year, she received honorable mention in the ModPortrait Contest sponsored by Artelibre Gallery in collaboration with the European Museum of Modern Art (MEAM), Barcelona, Spain.
