Charles Weed

Charles Weed studied classical drawing and painting at Hermann-Bougie Studios in Minneapolis from 1988-1990 and at the former Studio Cecil Graves, Florence, Italy in 1990.

Weed was one of the first instructors of drawing and painting at the Florence Academy of Art, founded by Daniel Graves.  Charles taught at the Academy off and on from 1992-1997.

Since 1999, Weed has lived in Svendborg, Denmark with Louise Fenne and their children.  He continues to paint, draw, and etch transcendent portraits, figures, still lifes, and landscapes.
