Linda Fantuzzo was born in Endicott, New York. After four years of study at The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia, she moved to Charleston where she immersed herself in the visual arts community. Linda worked non-objectively in various media for over 10 years; she then decided to return to painting representational imagery. She has been living and painting in Charleston for over 40 years.
Fantuzzo has shown her work in numerous solo exhibitions throughout her career. Her paintings are represented in the collections of: the Greenville County Museum, SC, the Gibbes Museum, Charleston, SC, the South Carolina State Arts Commission, The Burroughs–Chapin Museum, Myrtle Beach, SC, The Medical University of South Carolina, Kiawah Development Partners and many other public, corporate, and private collections.
Fantuzzo is the recipient of the 2018 South Carolina Arts Commission Fellowship Award which recognizes exceptional artistic achievement by resident artists.
